US cryptocurrency exchange Gemini paves the way for its customers to earn interest with their Dogecoin.

Gemini, the major US-based cryptocurrency exchange, paved the way to earn interest income with Dogecoin. In addition to listing DOGE on its platform recently, it aims to enable its customers to earn interest income with their Dogecoin. In a statement today, the company reported that Dogecoin holders will earn an annual return of 2.25 percent of the amount they hold in their accounts through the Gemini Earn service. Accordingly, interest will be charged daily and customers will be able to use their cryptocurrencies whenever they want. No balance or fee will be charged in order to benefit from the service. In addition, customers living in the USA and Singapore can benefit from the service. Speaking to CNBC on the issue, Gemini's COO Noah Perlman said, "As Gemini, we believe that one of the most exciting things about cryptocurrency is empowering the individual and Doge is an extraordinary example of this." DOGE has experienced a 250-fold increase in the last six months, attracting considerable attention in Turkey as well as in the rest of the world. Gemini Earn started operations in February and enables the service to earn a 7.4 percent return on 32 different cryptocurrencies. Gemini Earn will soon receive interest on the stable cryptocurrency Gemini Dollar (GUSD).
