Industry and Techngy Minister Mustafa Varank oloannounced that Koza Gold had found 20 tons of gold with a market value of 1.2 billion dollars and 3.5 tons of silver reserves with a market value of 2.8 million dollars in Ağrı Mollakara. Speaking at the Koza Gold Enterprises Ağrı Mollakara Facility Groundbreaking Ceremony, Minister Varank stated that the facility will be completed with an investment of 160 million dollars, that it will accelerate the development and development of Ağrı, and that it will strengthen Turkey's power in gold production.

20 Tons of Gold and 3.5 Tons of Silver Detected

Minister Varank Ağrı announced that 20 tons of gold with a market value of 1.2 billion dollars and 3.5 tons of silver reserves with a value of 2.8 million dollars were detected in this region. Varank used the following statements: "This is an important development for our country, our region and the world. With a grade value of 0.92, the detected reserve has a much richer content compared to similar mines in our country. Now, with an investment of approximately 160 million dollars, we will ensure that this reserve is brought into the economy in an environmentally friendly manner through the help of SDIF. " Minister Varank stated that the exploration works continue in the mine, which has a 6-year life in the first place according to the calculations, and that there is a greater potential as a reserve. Varank also said that they expect the operational life to reach 15-20 years with the addition of new reserves to be found.
