How Did Borsa Istanbul Start Wednesday, November 2?

The BIST 100 index, which evaluates the highest shares in terms of market and trading volume traded in Borsa Istanbul, closed the day at 4,054 points with an increase of 1.9% yesterday. In this way, the index renewed its closing record at 4,054 points after renewing its record at 4,100 points yesterday.

The BIST 100 index started the new day at 4,066 points, up 0.28%. At the opening of Borsa Istanbul, mineral products started the day with an increase of nearly 2%. Afterwards, the sports index, which started the day with a 1% rise, took its place. Banks started the day horizontally, while the holding, industrial and SME indices started the day with a slight buyer. Vakko and Akçansa, which rose by 9%, were the most demanded shares in the first transactions after the opening. Martı Hotel and Çelik Halat were recorded as the most declining stocks at the opening. Among the shares included in the BIST 100 index, Çimsa stood out with a rise of nearly 5%. Erbosan and SASA, which announced their 9-month balance sheet figures today, were the most sold shares in the index, down 8% and 6%, respectively, in the first minutes of the day. Fed interest rate decision is expected in international markets today. Asian markets moved with buyers in the morning hours. In Asia, Hang Seng index was the leading index with a rise of nearly 2.5% today, following yesterday's nearly 6% rise. US stock markets ended the day in negative territory yesterday. Nasdaq fell by 0.89%, while S&P 500 and Dow Jones declined by 0.24% and 0.41%, respectively. In the morning hours, it was observed that US and European futures indices continued in the plus.
