Indices in the Asia Pacific Region followed a mixed course in mid-week trading on Wednesday.

In Japan, the Nikkei 225 and Topix Indices fell slightly, while South Korea's Kospi Index increased by 0.56 percent. Stocks rose sharply in Australia.
The MSCI Asia Pacific Index is trading at 0.51 percent.

Nomura shares fell more than 1 percent in Wednesday's trading as well, continuing their course in the loss zone for the third day in a row. The company's shares fell 16 percent on Wednesday.
According to the data released this morning in China, factory activity increased above expectations in March.
