CBRT Will Transfer 30.2 Billion TL From Its Profit To The Treasury

According to the annual report of 2020, the Central Bank will transfer 30.2 billion TL from the profit it has made this year to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.

CBRT will transfer 30.2 billion TL from its profit to the Treasury. The annual report of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey for 2020 also revealed the amount of profit transfers to be made to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. Accordingly, 30.2 billion lira will be transferred from the 2020 profit of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. According to the balance sheet of the Central Bank previously announced in the Official Gazette, the profit for the period after 2020 was 34.5 billion lira, and the tax amount to be paid was 9.1 billion lira. Accordingly, the pre-tax profit of the CBRT in 2020 was 43.5 billion TL, compared to 55.8 billion TL in 2019. In 2019, 39.1 billion TL was transferred from the profit of the Central Bank to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. In 2019, the sum of profit transfer, corporate tax and reserve funds transferred from the Central Bank to the Treasury was 50.2 billion TL.
