Indices in the USA started the day mixed. The first trading day of the week started with uncertainty in the USA.
At the beginning of the day indices in the usa were mixed, the Dow Jones index decreased 0.29 percent and was traded at 30,905.57 points. While the S&P 500 index increased by 0.26 percent to 3,851.59 points, the Nasdaq index increased by 1.05 percent and started trading at 13,685.82 points.
Indices, which made a mixed closing last week in the US stock market, continued the same trend on the first business day of the new week. On the last trading day of the past week,
US President Joe Biden signed 2 decrees on food aid and employee rights. Pointing out that the economic crisis was deepening, US President Biden underlined that the government should act "decisively and bravely" to help Americans.
Today, it is estimated that Joe Biden will impose travel restrictions on countries such as South Africa, England and Brazil in the framework of combating the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic and sign a decree to increase the purchase of US products by federal institutions.
