All JP Morgan clients seeking investment advice will have the opportunity to invest in the cryptocurrency space, including those led by financial advisors, private investors using the trading app, and clients serviced by the private bank, a source who has directly witnessed the bank's transition to the digital space.
JP Morgan clients are now informed that Grayscale Investments' Grayscale Bitcoin Trust, Bitcoin Cash Trust, Ethereum Trust and Ethereum Classic Trust, and Osprey Funds' OTC Bitcoin Trust.
This move came with the report that many
JP Morgan clients consider cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, to be an asset class. The company's director of wealth management, Mary Callahan Erdoes, said at the time that the bank would allow customers to "deposit their money where they want to invest it," including cryptocurrency.
