WarnerMedia announced Jason Kilar as its new CEO in May. According to the news on CNBC, Kilar pressed the button to make serious changes in HBO Max. The new CEO announced that Andy Forssell has been appointed head of the the company business unit. This is not the only important decision Jason Kilar announced. Kilar announced in the mail sent to the employees that they will remove personnel and change their managerial positions. Accordingly, Bob Greenblatt, head of WarnerMedia Entertainment and direct consumer unit, Kevin Reilly, content manager and President of TBS, TNT and TruTV, and Keith Cocozza, vice president of corporate marketing and communications, will leave the company. Jason Kilar, who took office in May, made his first move with the company. Kilar, the co-founder and former CEO of Hulu, showed that he will seriously reshape the company in the increasingly competative media provider market. Kilar said that the changes in the email sent to the employees will help them meet the increasing demands of consumers and reach them directly in the midst of the corona virus epidemic. CEO Kilar also stated that they are aiming to expand HBO Max 'globally' scope, simplify studio organization, and unite international units and business operations. According to the new structure, Warner Bros. Under the leadership of its President and CEO Ann Sarnoff; There will be changes in studio, production and programming to include Warner Bros., HBO, HBO Max, TNT, TBS and Tru TV. HBO Program Head Casey Bloys, led by Sarnoff; HBO Max will add original content to TNT, TBS and Tru TV. Revenue director Gerhard Zeiler will lead WarnerMedia's newly integrated international operations for Warner Bros., HBO and Turner Networks. Otter CEO Tony Goncalves will head the new unit that combines US ad sales with home entertainment distribution and content licensing. The oversight of the global marketing and communications team was added to the duties of the Corporate Inclusion Officer Christy Haubegger.
