This authority can be delegated by the Ministry to the governorships.
Accordingly, the aforementioned penalty of 776 lira for those who violate the rules will be increased to 835 liras as of tomorrow (January 1) within the scope of the revaluation rate of 9.11 percent announced by the
Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
According to the law, vehicles used for passenger and goods transport are required to use winter tires between December 1 and April 1.
Winter tires are mandatory in commercial vehicles
The application is not mandatory for private vehicles other than freight and passenger transportation vehicles, but winter tires must be used in all vehicles in a safe journey in winter conditions.
With this practice, it is aimed to prevent vehicles that do not take precautions according to winter conditions and do not have winter tires from blocking the road and making people suffer.
