Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, stated in a written statement that maternity benefits cover all mothers who have recently given birth, regardless of any income criteria. Stating that for mothers who apply for birth aid, 300 for their first baby; 400 lira will be paid for the second baby and 600 lira for the third and following babies, Minister Selcuk stated that they will deposit 36.7 million lira in the account of 83 thousand mothers as of tomorrow within the framework of maternity benefits in September. Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk emphasized that since the first day of the application, a total of 2.5 billion lira maternity aid has been given to 4.7 million mothers.   '' Protection of Family Structure Has a Critical Importance '' Noting that they expanded the scope of birth assistance with the Multiple Birth Assistance Program launched in 2019, Selçuk stated that they support families with twins and triplet babies in need of 150 lira per month for 2 years.
