EasyJet reported that bookings for flights from the
UK increased by 337 percent within a few hours, while TUI reported that holiday package sales rose 630 percent.
Bloomberg Intelligence Analyst Rob Barnett said:
“We think the demand will first pick up on relatively cheap airlines such as Ryanair and Wizz Air. We foresee a slower recovery for full-service airlines such as IAG. "
