Ministry of Justice Will Hire 400 Experts

Ministry of Justice will hire 400 experts. The hiring will be made to prevent domestic violence and violence against women.
Measures for the prevention of domestic violence and violence against women continue to be taken. In this context, the Ministry of Justice drew up a new road map to combat violence in 2021. Accordingly, the measures taken to prevent violence will be increased and psychological support units will be strengthened.
Support Units Established Against the Increasing Violence
Ministry of Justice, established the Legal and Victim Support Services Directorates in over 105 Courts for the judicial process of informing the victims and to give support against violence along with psychosocial support services. Support services started to be provided by 803 experts in these directorates. In addition, it was informed that judicial support units will be strengthened this year.
The Ministry Will Recruit 400 More Experts
The Ministry of Justice will recruit 400 more experts within the framework of psychological support. It is aimed that these units will be doubled with the expert recruitments to be made next year. At the same time, the Ministry of Justice provides the opportunity to provide anger management training to perpetrators of violent acts.
Femicide Decreased by 21 Percent
According to the information provided by the Ministry of Justice, murders of women decreased by 21 percent compared to the previous year. The Ministry of Justice aims to decrease this rate further by increasing the deterrence of penalties.
