Most Stock Markets In Asia Are Closed Due To Holiday
Most of the stock markets in Asia are closed due to holiday. Asian stock exchanges were closed for trading on Thursday due to holidays in the majority of the region. On the other hand, the Australian stock market followed a positive course.
Indices in the
Asia Pacific Region were mostly closed in the first day of October, while most of the transactions in the region were closed due to the holidays on Thursday. However, trading on the Japanese stock market was suspended all day for a technical reason.
Japan Exchange Group Inc. stated that while they do not give any time frame about when the transactions will continue, they will announce their plans for the transactions to be carried out on Friday.
Japan's manufacturing sector purchasing managers index continued its long-standing decline in September, while remaining below the threshold of 50 in the 17th month in a row, continuing its course in the downsizing zone.
Stocks gained about 1.5 percent in Australia and Singapore.
Transactions in Hong Kong, Taiwan and South Korea have been suspended due to a holiday, while China will remain closed until October 9 as part of the 'Golden Week' holiday.
