Natural Gas Prices Increased In Turkey

Natural gas prices have increased in Turkey. Tariffs were published on the website of Boru Hatları ile Petrol Taş A.Ş. (BOTAŞ). In natural gas, the tariffs of residential and industrial subscriber groups increased by 1 percent, while the tariffs of power plants for electricity generation increased by 12 percent. The tariff chart for May was published on the website of Boru Hatları ile Petrol Taş A.Ş. (BOTAŞ). According to the new tariff published, the sales price applied by BOTAŞ to gas distribution companies for residential consumers was determined as 1,315.50 lira for 1000 cubic meters of natural gas, with an increase of 1 percent compared to the tariff valid in April, and the price applied to industrial subscribers as 1,471.414 lira. In the tariff of power plants for electricity generation, the price applied for 1000 cubic meters of natural gas increased by 12 percent and became 1,631,667 lira. Price tariffs for natural gas are calculated monthly.
