cryptocurrency operation last week and stole $5 billion worth of Bitcoin from the Bitfinex exchange, is becoming a documentary.

Netflix announced in a statement that the Bitfinex exchange scam will be broadcasted as a documentary. The announcement coincided with the week that Heather 'Razzlekhan' Morgan and Ilya Lichtenstein were arrested.
Chris Smith, who we know from the Tiger King series, will direct the documentary. Nick Bilton, whom we know from series such as Fake Famous, The Inventor: Out for Blood in Silicon Valley, will be producing the documentary.
119754 Bitcoins with a current value of 5 billion dollars were stolen from the Bitfinex exchange by Heather Morgan and Ilya Lichtenstein. While the couple laundered 25 thousand dollars worth of 1 billion dollars through various companies, the
FBI, which managed to find private wallets containing stolen Bitcoins, seized the rest. The couple will be sentenced to 25 years in prison for their crimes.
