Number of daily cases in Turkey decreased.

Statement of Turkey’s Daily Coronavirus chart for December 28 was announced by the Ministry of Health. Coronavirus outbreak across the world continues to spread unabated, taking some measures resulted in a decrease in the number of cases in Turkey.
According to the updated data announced, as a result of the 180 thousand 892 coronavirus tests performed in the last 24 hours, viruses were detected in 15 thousand 197 people. 257 people were reported to have died due to Covid-19.
In the last 24 hours, 22 thousand 203 people regained their former health after theier quarantine / treatment was over. Thus, the number of those who recovered reached 2 million 37 thousand 433 in total. The total number of tests increased to 23 million 958 thousand 818. While the total number of cases was 2 million 162 thousand 775, the number of deaths increased to 20 thousand 135. On the other hand, the number of severe patients was recorded as 4 thousand 251.
According to the announced weekly data, this week the rate of pneumonia in patients was 3.8 percent, while the bed occupancy rate was 49.1 percent, and the adult intensive care occupancy rate was 68.1 percent. On the other hand, the ventilator occupancy rate was 36.2 percent, the average contact detection time was 9 hours, and the fillation rate was 99.9 percent.
