While the BIST 100 index increased by 13.26 points compared to the previous closing, the total transaction volume was recorded as 25.2 billion liras. Banking index increased by 0.34 percent, while the holding index rose by 0.57 percent. Among the indices of the sector, the metal goods and machine was the most profitable with 3.21 percent, while the highest loss was on the sports sector with 2.15 percent. With the positive effect of the weakening of the exchange rates, BIST 100, which was gaining throughout the day, closed on Monday at the level of 1,439.29 points, experienced the highest closing of all time and reached its highest level with 1,442.79 points.
