Over 6 Times Demand for Yapı Kredi's Bond Issuance

Over 6 times demand for Yapı Kredi's bond issuance. More than 6 times the demand for Eurobond issuance of 500 million dollars was received from international markets and the interest was realized as 7.875. More than 230 investors participated in Yapı Kredi's 10-year subordinated bond issue with a recall option in its fifth year. The interest rate was recorded as 7.875 percent. Making a press release, Yapı Kredi CEO Gökhan Erün stated that there was a demand of 3.2 billion dollars for the bond issue and emphasized that the said resource was provided in a difficult period that was never been experienced before. Noting that they were very successful in the first capital transaction issued from Turkey, Erün said in his statement: “We take pride in out great success of the first capital transactions exported from Turkey since last year. Thanks to this resource we have provided in a globally difficult period that we have never experienced before, we have once again registered the international trust in our country's economy and Yapı Kredi. We believe this successful transaction will be a remarkable reference in the industry.
