Over 500 Thousand People in Turkey Vaccinated
Over 500 thousand people in Turkey were vaccinated. On the second day of the
vaccination program launched to combat coronavirus disease, the total number of vaccinated people exceeded 500 thousand.
In line with the recommendations made by the Coronavirus Scientific Committee, according to the “Covid-19 Vaccine National Implementation Strategy” determined by the Ministry of Health, the vaccination of priority healthcare workers continues.
In this direction, the first dose of CoronaVac vaccine, which was brought from China, was administered to more than 500 thousand people.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan also had his vaccine yesterday at Ankara City Hospital. MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli and IYI Party Chairman Meral Akşener also announced on social media that they are getting vaccinated today.
According to data released by the Ministry of Health, there are about 1 million 100 thousand health workers in Turkey. After the vaccinations are made to healthcare professionals with appropriate conditions, the Ministry is notifying the relevant people. In addition, healthcare professionals can get their vaccinations by making an appointment via the Central Physician Appointment System (MHRS).
With the completion of the vaccination of healthcare professionals, other citizens will be vaccinated according to the priority order within the scope of the Covid-19 Vaccine National Implementation Strategy.
Every person who has been given the CoronaVac vaccine will be able to access all the details of the vaccine from the text message (SMS) sent to their mobile phones and e-Nabiz application after the application.
The appointment for the second dose, which will be administered 28 days after the first dose, will be made by the physician, will be sent to their phones via SMS. The appointment can be checked or changed via MHRS and e-Nabiz application
