Presidential Economic Policy Committee Member Korkmaz Karaca Resigns
Korkmaz Karaca, a member of the Presidential Economic Policies Board, announced his resignation. For these reasons, I resign from my position at the Presidency."
Korkmaz Karaca, a member of the Presidential Economic Policies Board, announced his resignation with a statement. Korkmaz Karaca used the following expressions in his resignation text: ''With the consent of our esteemed President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, I have been serving as a member of the Economic Policies Board of the Republic of Turkey since October 2018. During my tenure, I have not received a single penny of salary, vehicle, fuel, etc. from the Turkish Treasury. On March 19, 2022, March 22, 2022, May 20, 2022, I underwent 3 very severe large intestine surgeries within 2 months. In the process, I have been subjected to various allegations since June 2021. Especially last week; I would like to give a different reaction to the ongoing immoral troll lynch on social media, even though I had no meeting or interest request with the person named Mine Tozlu Sineren, and more importantly, even though this person has declared that he has not established a relationship of interest with me. This lynch, which reached up to my beautiful daughter and my wife, has now become a threat to my health again. For these reasons, I am resigning from my position at the Presidency. I promise to fight as a simple soldier with all my strength in the 2023 journey of the AK Party and Mr. President. Of course, I will continue my gentle struggle, which I have been continuing for years as a private sector manager and investor. No one will be able to prevent the journey to a strong and great Turkey under the leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. May Allah help and help us.''
