Prices of Gasoline and Diesel Will Increase in Turkey!
According to the breaking news, prices of gasoline and diesel will increase in Turkey. The new prices will be valid from midnight tonight.
According to the information obtained by the AA correspondent from the Energy, Oil and Gas Supply Stations Employers' Union (
EPGİS), a raise in gasoline and diesel will be effective as of midnight.
With the new prices, the price of gasoline sold in Ankara for an average of 6.63 lira will be 6.80 lira per liter. Liter of
gasoline will increase from 6.58 lira to 6.75 lira in Istanbul and from 6.65 lira to 6.82 lira in Izmir.
The price of diesel sold for an average of 6.07 lira in Ankara will be 6.23 lira per liter. Liter of diesel will increase from 6.02 lira to 6.18 lira in Istanbul and from 6.10 lira to 6.26 lira in Izmir.
How Are Fuel Prices Calculated?
Fuel prices are calculated by the refineries via inclusion of processed products in Mediterranean which includes Turkey and changes in the US dollar rate. As a result of this calculation, the prices applied by distribution companies may vary slightly according to companies and cities due to their competition and freedom.
