Public Transport in Prague Welcomes the Crypto Era. Prague City Tourism has made an important decision regarding crypto assets. Prague City Tourism announced today that it is collaborating with Global Payments to enable passengers of the symbolic Tram Line 42 to purchase tickets with digital assets. In the statement, it was stated that the historical tram line 42, which provides transportation to the most popular tourist attractions in Prague, can be paid with cryptocurrency. Making a statement on the subject, Prague City Tourism IT Director Petr Soukup said, “We see the introduction of mobile terminals as a big step forward. The terminals will significantly speed up the ticket purchasing process and will also offer tourists a more convenient payment alternative.
