The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) shared the real sector confidence index (RSCI) and capacity utilization rates for May.
According to
CBRT data, RSCI decreased by 0.3 points compared to April and decreased to 109.4.
When the diffusion indices of the survey questions that make up the index are examined, the general trend, the total employment in the next three months and the evaluations of the total order amount in the last three months affect the index in an upward direction, while fixed capital investment expenditure, current finished goods stock, export order amount in the next three months, current total Evaluations regarding the order quantity and the production volume in the next three months affected the index in a downward direction.
The seasonally adjusted real sector confidence index decreased by 0.7 points compared to the previous month and was recorded as 107.
In addition, the capacity utilization rate also decreased.
The capacity utilization rate in the manufacturing industry increased by 0.2 points compared to April and rose to 78 percent.
Seasonally adjusted capacity utilization rate remained unchanged compared to the previous month,
It held steady at 78.1.
