Ripple Wants to Create a Crypto Market Maker Platform
Ripple wants to create a crypto market maker platform. The company is said to be in the process of team building.
According to
CoinDesk's report, the company is currently in the process of team building on the subject in both London and Singapore. It was stated that Ripple plans to recruit up to 10 people in total, initially to recruit a crypto trader with arbitrage experience between different exchanges, and a marketing and sales specialist who will be tasked with building relationships with liquidity providers and exchanges.
It is also said that Ripple's establishment of its own market maker platform will allow it to manage the liquidity in XRP.
As it will be remembered, last December, the US Securities and Exchange Commission filed a lawsuit against Ripple Labs and its two executives. The foundation of the institution's lawsuit is based on the claim that XRP is an unregistered security and the raising of more than $1.3 billion through the sale of XRP. A few days after the lawsuit, Jump Trading and Galaxy Digital, which were market makers in
XRP, stopped trading.
