The new name of McDonald's in Russia, which was bought by Russian entrepreneur Alexander Govor, has been announced.
Russian McDonald's Named: "Vkusno & Tochka". After Russia attacked Ukrainian territory on February 24, many Western companies decided to terminate their activities in the country. One of them was McDonald's, the world's largest fast-food restaurant chain based in the USA.
After this decision, the company made another remarkable statement in the past weeks and announced that it will transfer its restaurants in Russia to a local licensee named Alexander Govor.
The name of the restaurant, which will start to serve on Russia's national liberation day with its new owner and new name, has been announced today.
The company announced that the new chain will be called “Vkusno & Tochka” (delicious & that's all) and will serve 50 more locations after the iconic location in Moscow's Pushkin Square, where the first branch in Russia was opened in 1990.
