Scary Earthquake in Kuşadası Bay!
A magnitude 5 earthquake occurred off the coast of Menderes district of Izmir and frightened the citizens. The earthquake that occurred in the early morning took everyone to the streets.
According to the statements made on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), a magnitude 5 earthquake occurred in Kuşadası Bay at 06.24 am. The earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers. Another earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 was recorded 6 minutes before this earthquake. Izmir Provincial Disaster and Emergency Director Kartal Muhcı told AA correspondent that there was no negativity due to the earthquake and said, "So far, we have not received any negative reports."
