Gasoline Prices Fall in the US! Figures Fall Below 4 Dollars
The average retail gasoline price in the United States fell below $4 per gallon (3.8 liters). Thus, prices fell to the lowest level since March.
The average gasoline price in the US fell to 3.99-4 dollars, citizens rejoiced. This drop in gasoline prices was recorded as the lowest level since March. Fuel prices have been on a downward trend for about 2 months.
The decline in
oil prices and relatively weak demand led to a decrease in costs. It was added to the statements that fuel consumption was lower than the summer of 2020, when the pandemic started.
Data released yesterday in the US showed that inflation fell to 8.5 percent in July. In June, when inflation rose to 9 percent, gasoline prices also hit record highs. The main reason for the decline in prices is stated as the retreat in oil prices due to recession concerns.
