SED payments prioritized to families from Izmir.
Minister Selçuk announced that the families receiving Social and Economic Support (SED) service in İzmir are paid.
Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, stated that they highlighted the payments for families receiving Social and Economic Support (SED) services in İzmir, and announced that 5.7 million lira was paid to the accounts of 5,700 citizens within this framework.
Making a written statement, Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk noted that after the earthquake in Izmir, the teams were on the field 24/7 to meet the urgent needs of citizens and to provide psychosocial support services.
Providing information about the SED payments of the earthquake victims, Minister Selçuk used the following statements:
“We have brought payments forward in order to meet the needs of families receiving Social and Economic Support in the region. In this context, we paid 5.7 million lira to the account of our 5,700 citizens.”
Reminding that SED payments in other provinces other than İzmir will be made on 8-15 November,
Minister Selçuk said, “We will pay about 132 million TL for our 125 thousand children who benefit from SIA service.”
