September 9th Turkey Electricity Production and Consumption Data September 9th Turkey electricity production and consumption data has been announced. Accordingly, yesterday, on a daily basis in Turkey 925 thousand 942 megawatt-hour electricity produced, 923 thousand 543 megawatt-hour electricity consumption occurred. Turkish Electricity Transmission Co. (TEIAS), according to data released yesterday, the highest electricity consumption on an hourly basis as 43 thousand 244 megawatt-hour at 8 pm, while the lowest consumption was made on 31 thousand 801 megawatt-hour at 7 am.   While 925 thousand 942 megawatt-hours of electricity was produced on a daily basis yesterday, 923 thousand 543 megawatt-hours of consumption was recorded. Natural gas power plants ranked first in production with a share of 29.09 percent, followed by imported coal power plants with 22.09 percent and hydroelectric power plants with dams with 18.20 percent. Besides, 225 megawatt-hour of electricity was imported yesterday and 3,624 megawatt-hour of electricity was exported.
