Sony decided to remove the game from Playstation Store in order to appease users who had problems with Cyberpunk 2077 and offered users a full refund.
It was learned that the reason for the company's radical decision was that Cyberpunk 2077, which was released on December 10, caused various problems for the players.
The Warsaw-based game developer and known for the Witcher 3 game, CD Projekt offered a refund to users who were not satisfied with the game. However, Sony offered a definitive solution by removing the game completely from their platform.
Cyberpunk featured Hollywood actor
Keanu Reeves as the game character and used the famous actor as one of its biggest ambassadors while the game was being released.
Shares of CD Projekt, the game's developer, fell by more than a third in six days. Making a statement on its Twitter account, the company stated that "they should pay more attention to making the game better for PlayStation 4 and
Xbox One."
After Sony removed the game from PlayStore, CD Projekt's shares lost 19 percent.
