Statement from Togg CEO Gürcan Karakaş: "The Price Has Not Been Determined"
Togg CEO Gürcan Karakaş said, "Prices are not certain, no professional company in today's world announces prices for 5-6 months ahead. Since we will be on the road at the end of the 1st quarter, we are planning accordingly."
Togg CEO Gürcan Karakaş made statements about TOGG at the opening ceremony of Turkey's Automobile Initiative Group's factory in Bursa's Gemlik district. Karakaş said, "We are very excited and happy to be able to show you what we have been working on for more than 4 years. It is a separate pride that it coincides with the Republic Day. When we set out 4.5 years ago, we said and promised that we set out for more than just an automobile. We talked about a device belonging to Turkey, belonging to us, and a vehicle that could compete on a global scale. Step by step, we have realized these. We have reached the day when we are ready for mass production in our Gemlik campus, our technology campus, and our first vehicles are rolling off the line. Why do we call it a campus? If this is more than a car, if it is a smart device ecosystem center, it cannot be a manufacturing unit and production center. Therefore, we see it as a campus where we will do our engineering, prototypes, designs and everything under one roof. That's why we named it Togg's technology campus in Gemlik. We cover our whole country. We chose the colors of the vehicle from the colors of our country. In order for Kula, Oltu and Gemlik to be recognized all over the world. With the development of technology, our smart device becomes a part of our lives. If you want to plan a trip, if you want to have fun, you can do these things. After our home and office, which we designed as a living space, we make all kinds of collaborations. We have examined nearly 300 start-ups, we have worked with 36 of them for the service we modeled, and we shook hands with 19 of them.
