BIST 100 index, which made its opening with an increase, reached 1,105.98 points upon the intensification of purchases in banking stocks. On the way to closing, the BIST 100 index returned its earnings and closed the day at 1,099.06 points with a 0.06 percent decrease. Analysts stated that tomorrow, July balance of payments statistics will be monitored, and that the data of industrial production in the UK, the Eurozone, the Consumer Price Index in Germany and the USA will be closely monitored. On the other hand, it was reported that the news about the coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine and the geopolitical developments centered on the Eastern Mediterranean kept their place in the agenda. Analysts indicated that the BIST 100 index is at the level of 1,120 resistance and 1.090 and 1.070 levels are in the support position.
