Stock market started the new week with a decline on November 30. BIST 100 index in
Borsa Istanbul decreased 1.08 percent and started the day with 1,314.43 points.
At the beginning of the day, the BIST 100 index lost 14.31 points and 1.08 percent and fell to 1.314.43 points. While the banking index lost its value by 2.04 percent at the opening, the holding index also lost 0.73 percent. Securities investment trusts earned the most with 1.64 percent among the sector indices while communication recorded the most loss with 2.41 percent.
The BIST 100 index, which saw its all-time high with 1,351.65 points last week, lost 1.02 percent on Friday with profit sales. However, the index rose 4 times in a row, with 0.36 percent gain in value on a weekly basis.
Analysts stating that domestic growth and foreign trade statistics will be monitored today, inflation in Germany, Chicago manufacturing Industry Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) in the USA, statements of European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde and Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) ) reminded that the meeting will be monitored.
It was also stated that throughout the week, the data agenda will be busy, especially inflation in the country, manufacturing and service sector PMI abroad and the employment report of the USA.
In technical terms, analysts stated that the levels of 1.340 and 1.360 are in the resistance position and 1.290 points in the support position in the
BIST 100 index.
