Tayyip Erdoğan: ''Interest Rates Will Continue to Decline Every Month''

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made evaluations at the "Mass Opening Ceremony of Balıkesir OSB, Çamlık National Garden, Ardıçtepe Dam and Other Completed Projects" held in Balıkesir Kuva-yı Milliye Square.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, "The world is experiencing its most challenging period after the Second World War. Global political and economic power balances are being shaken to their foundations. The economic and social problems triggered by the pandemic and war have started to become the harbingers of more radical changes. This picture also affects our country. We are minimizing the effects of global crises on our country and taking steps to set an example for the world. A troublesome winter awaits developed countries," he said. Explaining that they aim to increase the incomes of citizens in accordance with prices, President Erdoğan added that interest rates will continue to fall. ''While so-called economists are still talking about interest rates, we will continue to support production and employment. As long as this brother of yours is in office, interest rates will continue to decrease day by day, week by week, month by month. No one should advise us on this issue. Let the investors come and demand loans from our state banks, we will not let them be crushed by interest rates, because there is no investment with high interest rates."
