Tesla CEO Elon Musk is Making a Loss

Is the Tesla company, founded by successful businessman Elon Musk, making a loss? Supply problems at some Tesla factories in Germany and the USA affected production. Tesla is making a loss because it cannot produce the desired number of products.

The global supply leader, China, continues to affect the economy with the measures it has taken within the scope of the coronavirus fight. With these restriction decisions taken by China, there were disruptions in the supply provided to the world, while the functioning of the factories stopped. Things came to a standstill at Tesla's factory in Texas in the USA and Berlin in Germany. Elon Musk noted that they could not increase production in the Berlin and Texas factory due to the problems in Chinese ports and inadequacy in battery supply, and therefore they lost billions of dollars. “Both our Berlin and Austin factories are burning huge amounts of money right now,” Musk said.

Musk Evaluates Recession Risk

The tightening policies of central banks, especially the Fed, brought the risk of recession to the agenda. While US President Joe Biden and US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen declared that a recession was inevitable, Wall Street experts stated that the recession was preventable. The famous billionaire Musk also made evaluations about the current economic indicators, thus the recession. Musk said that a recession could happen in the near term. Musk Evaluates Recession Risk. Central banks, which tried to develop the economy with incentive packages during the Covid-19 pandemic, changed their policy in order to combat the increasing global inflation due to the Ukraine war after the pandemic. Under the leadership of the US Federal Reserve (Fed), the central banks of many countries have aggressively increased interest rates.
