Sunderasan, who lives in Singapore, is known as a blockchain entrepreneur, coder and angel investor. Originally of Indian origin, Sunderasan stated that he met cryptocurrency in early 2013, but since he did not have money at that time, he started to acquire Bitcoin by offering escrow services. Sunderasan later announced that he established a stock exchange called Coins-e and that its business grew extraordinarily during the bull run in 2013, reaching 14,000 users in 6 months. Sunderasan, who decided to sell Coins-e in May 2014, said that they established BitAccess after the sales transactions and that they reached 100 ATMs in 18 countries within a year. Noting that he left here as well, the Indian entrepreneur stated that he also invested in Ethereum at the first stage and that his return helped him to invest in projects such as Tezos, Polkadot, Decentraland, Dfinity, Flow and Avalanche, some of which reached billions of dollars. Sunderasan, one of the two founders of Metapurse, which is currently a crypto and NFT-focused fund, is also the CEO of the consulting firm Portkey Technologies.
