The Number of Oil Rigs in the USA Increased
The number of oil rigs in the USA has increased. The number of oil rigs, which are considered as indicators of the country's oil industry outlook and short-term crude oil production, increased by 12 this week.
According to the weekly data released by oilfield services company Baker Hughes, the number of oil rigs in the US reached 205 in the week of October 10-16, up 12 from the previous week.
Brent oil price per barrel closed at $ 43.16 on Thursday and $ 42.81 on Friday. The barrel price of West Texas (WTI) type crude oil completed on Friday at $ 40.77. WTI type crude oil closed Thursday for $ 40.96.
