According to the circular sent to the governorships of 81 provinces by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the application regarding the submission of a negative PCR test up to 48 hours before the entrance to certain areas or traveling by public transport of people who are unvaccinated or have not completed the vaccination process and have not had the disease in the last 180 days is implemented by the Ministry of Health, General Directorate of Public Health. It has been rearranged in accordance with its assessments to clear up misunderstandings.
In the circular, it was stated that the PCR test will be requested but not required for people who have not been vaccinated or have not completed the vaccination process and have not had the disease in the last 180 days.
Accordingly, PCR testing will continue for employees of nursing homes, love homes, prisons, and detention houses who are unvaccinated or have not had the disease in the last 180 days, detainees and convicts in prisons and detention houses, and people who will travel abroad (in line with the rules determined by the country of travel).
In accordance with the evaluation of the General Directorate of Public Health, the PCR test will continue for people who are not vaccinated or who have not completed the vaccination process and who have not had the disease in the last 180 days who will travel between cities by plane.
For those who are unvaccinated or who have not completed the vaccination process and have not had the disease in the last 180 days, for those who will participate in events such as concerts, cinemas, and theater, for the personnel working in the schools of the Ministry of National Education (teachers, bus drivers, cleaning personnel, etc.), and for employees in all public and private workplaces. Those who will participate in the student camps organized by public and private institutions will not be tested with the PCR test.
