TIKTOK PLANNED TO RECRUIT 10000 PERSONNEL

The U.S. Government has announced that the latest popular application, TikTok, could be banned for security reasons. According to the news in CNBC, despite this possibility, the company plans to grow rapidly in the USA. In this context, TikTok planned to recruit 10000 personnel over the next three years.
There were fewer than 500 TikTok employees in the country before 2020. Today this number has increased to 1400. A company spokesperson said, “In 2020, we tripled our number of employees in the USA. In the next three years, 10 thousand more will join us. These are good paid jobs that will help us develop a fun and safe experience. ”

FIRST HUAWEI NEXT TIKTOK

As trade wars worsen with China, the Trump Government has begun to exert more pressure on Chinese technology companies than ever before. According to Washington, the software and hardware produced by these companies are used by the Xi Jinping Government for espionage. The number one target, Huawei's telecom equipment, has been banned in the USA.
Moreover, Trump is putting pressure on allied countries in this direction. Finally, Britain decided to exclude Huawei from 5G studies. Earlier this month, US Vice President Mike Pence said they were planning to ban TikTok, owned by Beijing-based ByteDance.
TikTok collects a lot of data such as which videos are watched and which comments are made, location data, phone model and operating system used, keyboard usage habits. TikTok took some steps to show that he was trying to distance himself from Beijing and even ByteDance. One of them was to bring a CEO from USA to the head of the company. Disney's former broadcast director Kevin Mayer has been the CEO of TikTok since May.
The largest office is located in Los Angeles, but London, Dublin and Singapore are also candidates for headquarters. The British Sunday Times newspaper wrote that talks between the Boris Johnson Government and ByteDance have been halted due to "broader geopolitical conditions".
