Trump is currently selling one of his luxury residences in the Caribbean

Trump tried to sell his Caribbean residence Le Château des Palmiers in Plum Bay on a sandy beach more than four years ago. At the time, he demanded $ 11 million more from a potential buyer. This was reported by Bloomberg. The luxurious residence of the former American president includes five bedrooms, a heated swimming pool, a gym, a media room, a dining room for ten people and a garden villa with four bedrooms. There is also an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court and an outdoor bar on the extensive grounds. A part of the seat is also a pool cottage. A wall of up to eight meters high is guaranteed for a potential buyer, bounding the entire complex. Towards the sea it is then reduced to five meters for a better view. Donald Trump has long been one of the largest real estate magnates in the world. After all, before joining the presidency, he served for several years as chairman and CEO of The Trump Organization, a real estate trading company. It operates many hotels, casinos and golf courses around the world. However, during the pandemic, Trump's companies suffered significant losses. Their incomes fell by almost 38 percent last year. Revenue from the former president's Washington hotel, just a few blocks from the White House, fell 63 percent in 2020. A similar drop was reported by Trump's hotel in Las Vegas, which earned $ 9.2 million last year, while in 2019 it collected 23.3 million. His Doral Golf Resort in Miami had revenue of $ 44 million last year, up from $ 77 million the year before. In addition, Trump's properties are burdened with debt totaling more than $ 1 billion. Over $ 300 million, for which the former president is personally liable, will be due in the coming years, and that could be a problem for Trump. The pandemic had a significant effect on his income. In total, the Trump Organization conglomerate, which consists of about 500 companies owned by the former US president, reported revenue of $ 278 million in 2020. The money from the sales will be useful to Trump in paying off debts. In the past, the ex-president has tried to sell several of his properties. However, it was often unsuccessful in sales because the required amounts were too high. An example is the Trump Hotel in Washington, DC, for which he wanted $ 500 million in 2019. However, the highest amount offered was up to $ 150 million lower.
