Turkcell Stepped into the Metaverse World

Turkcell stepped into the metaverse world. Turkcell will sell products on the metaverse store.

Turkcell, which previously tested cryptocurrency trading via Paycell, has now made the first move to step into the metaverse. Turkcell will open a virtual store on the metaverse and sell products there. In addition, customers will be able to test Turkcell services in a digital environment. Users will attend the store opening with their customizable avatars. In the future, job postings, recruitment and orientation processes of human resources are also planned to be carried out on the metaverse. Announcing the infrastructural and procedural phases for Metaverse, Turkcell has not yet stated which metaverse technology it will use. In a statement, Kadri Özdal, Turkcell’s Executive Vice President of Retail Sales, said: "As Turkcell, the pioneer of firsts in Turkey, we aim to be in every environment in order to reach our customers at the right place and at the right time in retailing. In this context, we will also take part in Metaverse with our innovative perspective. We will carry the quality and trust of Turkcell to the virtual world and we will continue to provide the best service to our customers."
