Turkey's Budget Implementation Results Were Shared

Turkey's budget implementation results were shared. Accordingly, budget revenues were recorded as 1 trillion 29.5 billion liras and expenditures as 1 trillion 202.2 billion liras last year. Turkey's central government budget revenues increased by 17.6 percent compared to the previous year was recorded as 1 trillion 29 billion 493 million liras in 2020, while expenses increased by 20.2 percent, was recorded as 1 trillion 202 billion 236 million liras. The Ministry of Treasury and Finance announced the budget implementation results for December 2020 and January-December period. According to the announced results, in December 2020, budget revenues increased by 34 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 97 billion 559 million lira. Budget expenditures also increased by 32.2 percent in the same period and reached 138 billion 250 million lira. Last month, the budget deficit was announced as 40 billion 691 million TL. Budget revenues increased by 17.6 percent in 2020 compared to the previous year, reaching 1 trillion 29 billion 493 million lira, and budget expenditures increased by 20.2 percent to 1 trillion 202 billion 236 million lira. Thus, the central government budget deficit rose by 38.5 percent last year and was announced as 172 billion 743 million lira.
