Turkey’s Lithium Passed High Current Test
Turkey’s lithium passed high current test. Minister Dönmez announced that the domestic lithium was tested by Aspilsan.
Lithium obtained from boron waste for the first time in the world has successfully completed the high current test required for batteries. Energy and Natural Resources Minister Fatih Dönmez reported that 99.5 percent pure lithium was tested by Aspilsan in battery cells.
Minister Dönmez emphasized that Turkey's boron ore will energize high-tech products. Minister Dönmez said, "We will use the lithium we produce in Kırka Facilities in the storage areas of our domestic car
TOGG, mobile devices, tablets and smart technologies."
An Annual Production of 10 Tons is Planned in the First Stage
Fatih Dönmez, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, stated that when the foundation of the lithium production facility was laid, it was planned to produce 10 tons per year in the first place.
