Upbit Delisted Litecoin

South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit decided to delist Litecoin due to legal issues.

Founded in 2017, South Korea-based cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has decided to delist Litecoin. The stock market cited legal issues as the reason for its decision. The exchange had previously made a statement and warned its users about Litecoin and its Mimblewimble feature. Today, it has announced that Litecoin trading pairs will no longer be available to its users from June 20. Cryptocurrency Investors are Satisfied With Litecoin Update On the other hand, with the introduction of the MWEB Litecoin update, Litecoin has become more private. The increase in on-chain security has been positively received by crypto investors. However, centralized and regulated cryptocurrency exchanges in countries such as South Korea have decided to delist LTC due to potential legal issues.
