The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the emergency use of the coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine developed by the Johnson&Johnson company. Following the recommendation of the independent panel of infectious diseases experts to approve the vaccine, the FDA announced its decision on the vaccine. In the statement made, it was noted that the coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine developed by the Johnson&Johnson pharmaceutical company and administered as a single dose was approved for emergency use. Accordingly, the Jonhson&Johnson vaccine went down in history as the third vaccine approved for emergency use in the USA after Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna.   Single-Dose Vaccine Provides 66 Percent Success It was announced that Johnson&Johnson's single-dose coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine, which was tested on 44 thousand people, achieved 66 percent success and created strong protection against disease and death. According to the current data announced by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which tracks coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccination statistics in the USA, the total number of vaccines made throughout the country has exceeded 70 million. According to the current data of the CDC, more than 47 million people in the country received the first dose and more than 22 million people received the second dose of coronavirus vaccine.
