To stop the coronavirus outbreak, Automaker Volvo decided to temporarily stop production at its factories in Sweden, the USA, and Belgium.
After the infection rate in China slowed down, Volvo announced that it would restart production.
According to the company statement, Volvo's Torslanda, Skovde, and Olofstrom plants in Sweden and the South Carolina factory in the USA will be closed from 26 March to 14 April.
"The thing that interests us the most is the health of our employees and the future of our business. In my opinion, we need to do something deeply for our economy instead of endless measures," said Hakan Samuelsson, CEO of Volvo Car Group.
