Weekly Summary of the Investment Tools

At the end of another week, which investment tool profited? Which investment tool lost the most? Here is the weekly summary of the investment tools... This week, stocks traded in Borsa Istanbul gained an average of 1.07 percent on a weekly basis and the selling price of gold per gram gained 0.65 percent, while the USD/TL exchange rate lost 1.31 percent and the Euro/TL rate decreased 0.57 percent. The BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul saw the lowest 1,352.74 points and the highest 1,418.52 points. After these levels, BIST 100 index closed the week at 1,408.14 points, gaining 1.07 percent compared to the previous week's closing. This week, the selling price per gram of 24-carat gold bullion, traded in the Grand Bazaar, increased to 461.20 lira with a value gain of 0.65 percent, and the selling price of Republican gold increased to 3.059.00 lira with a 0.66 percent gain in value. The sales price of the quarter gold, which was 742.00 lira last week, reached 747.00 lira. The US dollar, which lost 1.31 percent in value this week, fell to 8.0640 lira, while the Euro fell to 9.6680 lira with a 0.57 percent depreciation. Mutual funds lost 0.07 percent this week, while private pension funds lost 0.06 percent. In terms of categories, highest gain was recorded on "Debt Instruments Funds" with 0.20 percent.
