While the stocks traded in Borsa Istanbul this week gained 0.72 percent on a weekly basis, the selling price of gold fell by 0.37 percent on a weekly basis, the Euro/TL depreciated by 0.12 percent and the USD/TL rate declined by 0.86 percent. This week, the BIST 100 index in Borsa Istanbul saw the lowest point of 1.463.01 and the highest point of 1.484.95. After these levels, the BIST 100 index finished the week at 1,468.67 points, gaining 0.72 percent compared to the previous week's closing. The selling price of 24-carat gold bullion, traded in the Grand Bazaar this week, rose to 487.00 TL with a 0.37 percent value increase, and the sales price of the Republican gold rose to 3,229.00 TL with a 0.37 percent gain. The sales price of quarter gold, which was 786.00 TL last week, decreased to 789 TL. The US dollar, which depreciated by 0.86 percent this week, fell to 8.2940 TL, while the Euro depreciated by 0.12 percent to 9.8590 TL. While mutual funds gained 0.47 percent this week, private pension funds also gained 0.45 percent. Equity Funds were the highest earner among mutual funds with 1.66 percent.
