Stocks traded in Borsa Istanbul on a weekly basis gained an average of 1.21% and the selling price of gold by 0.56%, while the USD/TL rate depreciated by 0.06% and the Euro/TL exchange rate dropped by 1.06%. BIST 100 index, after seeing the lowest 1,379.13 points and the highest 1,410.19 points, closed the week at 1,401.46 points, increasing by 1.21 percent compared to the previous week's closing. The selling price of 24-carat gold bullion, traded in the Grand Bazaar, rose to 499.80 TL with a 0.56 percent gain this week, and the sales price of the Republican gold rose to 3,315.00 TL with a 0.55 percent gain. The sales price of quarter gold, which was 805.00 TL last weekend, reached 810.00 TL. This week, the US dollar appreciated by 0.06 percent to 8,8520 TL, and the Euro increased by 1.06% to 10,2620 TL. Mutual funds lost 0.46 percent this week, while private pension funds lost 0.27 percent. Precious Metals Funds were the highest earner among mutual funds with 0.77 percent.
