When Will The Central Bank Announce Its Interest Rate Decision?
When will the Central Bank announce its interest rate decision? When will the CBRT Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting be held?
While investors focused on the data to be monitored next week, the most important concern was the interest rate decision of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT).
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) will announce its interest rate decision right after the Monetary Policy Committee meeting on Thursday, February 18. The main opinion is that the policy interest rate, which is currently 17 percent, will not be increased at this meeting and will remain constant.
In addition to the bank decision, an intense data agenda awaits domestic markets. The financial results of the companies will be monitored throughout the week along with the budget balance and housing sales on Monday, the housing price index on Tuesday, the consumer confidence index on Thursday and the credit rating report of the international credit rating agency Fitch on Friday.
